Bitrix24 Case Study: The Commonwealth

Learn how we solved this clients global collaboration portal problem with a workflow solution to seamlessly automate most of the manual intervention in their process.

Bitrix24 Case Study The Commonwealth

The Commonwealth, London
Solution: Global Collaboration Portal

The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 54 independent and equal countries. It is home to 2.5 billion people, and includes both advanced economies and developing countries. The member governments have agreed to shared goals like development, democracy and peace.

The Problem

As the Covid19 pandemic took hold around the world The Commonwealth looked for ways to support home working and provide all members with a platform to communicate, collaborate and gain access to key information across their global operations.

The Solution

The key requirement was to connect remote offices through a secure portal that allowed members to communicate with each other no matter their location. We developed a secure online portal built on the Bitrix24 Enterprise platform. The platform’s structure allows each member state and office to have their own private portal which they can access securely to communicate and collaborate with their colleagues.

Whilst having private online workspaces for each remote office there was also the requirement to have a global workspace which brought all members together irrespective of their office location. The global workspace provides key tools including a member directory, online conferencing, multiple communication channels and dashboards displaying key metrics important to The Commonwealth.
